Pulitzer Hall
The Pulitzer Prizes are universally regarded as the most prestigious awards in American journalism. Since 1918, The New York Times has won 119 – more of than any other newspaper. Pulitzer Hall honors this achievement, displaying each award and a sample of the work that earned the honor.
Pulitzer Hall features nine conference rooms in all. The three large conference rooms (Darnton, Nash and Neuffer) that are divided by retractable air-walls that can combine the rooms into one.
Many of the rooms in the Hall are dedicated to journalists who lost their lives in puruit of the truth. Whether they were seasoned veterans or just getting their start in journalism, you can read their stories on dedicatory plaques, hanging in each of the rooms.
